Priscilla Bacon Lodge wins RICS East of England Award

The new Priscilla Bacon Lodge building has received the award for Community Benefit at the RICS East of England Awards.

The RICS Awards showcase the most inspirational initiatives and developments in land, real estate, construction and infrastructure. They recognise outstanding achievement, teamwork and companies.

The new Priscilla Bacon Lodge is a £12.5M new state-of-the-art Hospice building in Norfolk, replacing Priscilla Bacon Hospice’s previous facilities. A charity funded project, the new Hospice building is a culmination of the remarkable generosity of fundraisers and organisations from Norfolk and beyond, and support from an army of volunteers.

The new building means more people will receive the best possible end-of-life care at the new Priscilla Bacon Lodge, as it will provide increased choice and access to the specific services they require when they need them.

As the winner of a regional award, the project will now go forward to the national Community Benefit Award category at the RICS Grand Final in London in October.
